My series of manipulated digital images is ongoing. They derive from mostly nature based images and challenge the viewer to find visual surprises within their complexity. The images are printed on silk scrolls or as prints and they have been seen in a number of exhibitions and publications.

NORTH SHORE MEDITATIONS SQUARED Statement:

The natural world contains an infinite number of patterns and colors whose complexity and possibilities are only increased by repetition and repetition again. Living on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior, which is by area the largest freshwater lake in the world, I have extensive opportunity to observe nature closeup similar to what our ancestors did. These manipulated digital image scrolls are my attempt to invite the viewer to consider these myriad possibilities and to revel in the endless beauty of nature.
